Putnam National Golf Course
Putnam County Golf Course formerly known as Putnam National Golf Club is a lovely scenic golf course located at 187 Hill Street in Mahopac. The golf course is an 18 hole championship coursed designed by William F. Mitchell in 1959 and offers a 6,800 yard par 71 venue. There is a daily fee course that is open to the public which has 4 sets of tees. The golf club is one of two golf clubs in Mahopac, the other one is Mahopac Golf and Beach Club right across from Lake Mahopac.
About Putnam County Golf Course
After its opening in 1959 the club remained private for many years then in 2004 the course and surrounding property was purchased by Putnam County and became the first municipally owned golf course in the county.

The Fairways at Putnam National
The Fairways at Putnam National features many options to house your special occassion.
The Grand Ballroom features a full stage, high cathedral ceilings with gleaming and windowed walls framing panoramic countryside views and accommodates up to 250 guests. There is also an upper level VIP Suite that fits an additional 30 people for events.
The Fairway Ballroom featuring a large wood burning fireplace can accommodates up to 125 guests. The 3,000 sq-ft outdoor terrace overlooks the sprawling grounds and adjoins the two Ballrooms for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour.
The Garden Room with its enclosed outdoor garden accommodates up to 50 guests and is ideal for smaller celebrations.
The Pub Room with its classic full-sized mahogany bar, large flat-screen TV and lounge furniture accommodates up to 100 guests and may also be used for private meetings and bachelor parties.
